About the Position
We are excited to share an excellent career opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer with a well-established national company with head office located in the Eastern City Fringe of Adelaide.
This is a full-time permanent position in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, offering you the chance to apply your expertise in accounts payable while contributing to a collaborative team.
About the Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for handling high-volume accounts payable duties, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving any payment-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
Resolve discrepancies with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors
Maintain and update supplier records in the system
Assist with month-end and year-end accounts payable reporting
Handle payment queries, offering exceptional customer service and support
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in an accounts payable role, ideally in a high-volume environment
A solid understanding of accounts payable processes and financial systems
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly
High attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
