Electrical Maintenance Technician

Seeking the next Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a local family business within the Adelaide Hills! Are you a hands-on electrician with experience within the food manufacturing industry?

Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, you will keep the machinery and manufacturing equipment operating to reduce downtime when breakdowns occur. You will be joining the maintenance team with flexible shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights, or 7 days on, 7 days off.

Responsibilities

• Attending to critical equipment and plant breakdowns

• Electrical Maintenance

• Maintaining electrical parts and equipment

• Fault finding

• Ensuring all plant and electrical assets are maintained

• Preparing reports of a technical nature

• Set up, commissioning, maintaining and operating maintenance

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have an electrical trade qualification with hands-on experience within the food manufacturing industry.

• Exercise good interpersonal and communication skills

• Understands and applies quality control techniques

• Excellent investigative and report writing skills

• Have sound and up to date knowledge of Australian Standards
