Estimator/Assessor

JV Crash is seeking a dedicated Estimator/Assessor to join its team. The primary focus of this role is to accurately quote vehicles in a timely manner, ensure all estimates meet average repair cost targets, and adhere to insurer and company procedures.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Accurately assess and estimate vehicle repair costs. 

• Prepare detailed quotes in accordance with company and insurer guidelines. 

• Liaise with customers to explain repair processes and costs. 

• Ensure all estimates are completed within designated time frames. 

• Work collaboratively with the repair team to ensure smooth workflow. 

• Utilise estimation software and tools to prepare accurate quotes. 

• Monitor and achieve average repair cost targets. 

• Provide exceptional customer service

  
  

Skills and Experience  

This position requires strong technical knowledge of automotive structure and car body parts, as well as a comprehensive understanding of motor vehicle repair techniques.  You would ideally possess previous experience in estimating/assessing or otherwise, this may be the opportunity to get off the tools.  

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 

• Proficiency in computer skills, including estimation software. 

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
