Finance Manager

A well-established South Australian business within the renewable energy sector, based in the north-western suburbs of Adelaide, is seeking a capable and hands-on Finance Manager. This full-time position offers convenient on-site parking and the opportunity to contribute to a growing, purpose-driven business focused on sustainability and innovation.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is suited to an individual who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day financial operations while also contributing to broader business decisions. You will take responsibility for the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting planning processes, and providing practical insights to assist the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and general ledger maintenance

• Manage month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and statutory compliance (payroll, GST, BAS)

• Development, monitoring and reporting of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow

• Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to support business performance

• Delivery of clear and practical financial insights

• Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and financial controls

• Provide oversight and coordination across IT, HR, and cybersecurity functions

• Mentor and support a small finance team

• Work collaboratively across the business to support operational outcomes

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be a practical and detail-oriented finance professional with experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized business. You will be comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and communicating financial information clearly and straightforwardly.

• CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)

• Solid experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Ability to perform financial modelling

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

• Flexible and adaptable, with a hands-on approach
