Maintenance Officer

Our client is a leading provider of residential aged care, retirement living and In-home Care services in the Adelaide Hills and metropolitan Adelaide, proudly delivering services that enhance the independence, well-being and lifestyle of older South Australians Seeking a Maintenance Officer for an immediate requirement to work at one of our client's aged care facilities located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills for a temporary 5-day-per-week role, 7.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, communal areas, and equipment

• Perform minor repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, painting

• Ensure lighting, fire alarms, and emergency systems are operational.

• Oversee subcontractors on site

• Order and manage stock for essential maintenance supplies

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills & Experience:

Ideally, you will have similar experience gained from within an aged care or hospital environment. You’ll bring a positive, vibrant, friendly attitude with strong communication and the ability not to be afraid to assist where necessary.

• Knowledge of general repairs and maintenance.

• Understanding of workplace safety regulations.

• Ability to plan and prioritise maintenance tasks.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

• Practical computer skills and knowledge

• Must hold or be willing to obtain a police check
