About the Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, our client is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Coordinator to manage the end-to-end process of a fortnightly payroll. In this role, you will be responsible for processing employee wages from the rostering/time in attendance system, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end payroll processing
Preparing statutory reporting and requirements
Maintaining and updating employee records
Calculating long-service-leave, terminations and other payments
Ensuring compliance with awards, Fair Work and ATO obligations, including superannuation
Assisting with payroll projects as required
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in payroll and a solid understanding of relevant legislation and awards, together with the ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
Additional Skills:
Familiarity with HR/Payroll software
Strong customer service skills
Ability to engage positively with diverse stakeholders
Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up
Intermediate proficiency in Excel
