Labourer / Stump Grinder Operator

Para Trees is a family-owned business based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, specialising in high-quality tree services for local councils and the private sector. With a strong commitment to professional service, attention to detail, and safety, they are now looking to expand their team.

Para Trees is seeking a full-time Stump Grinder Operator to operate stump grinding machinery for the removal of tree stumps on residential, commercial, and public properties. This position offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with an immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stump grinding equipment and other relevant machinery

• Assess work sites for safety and access

• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors

• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

• Ensure worksites are left clean and tidy on job completion

Skills and Experience:

This role will be ideal for you if you are hardworking, self-motivated, able to work alone, and focused on safety and performing quality work.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated, honest and reliable

• Experience using stump grinders or similar equipment (ideal)

• Valid driver’s licence (must be able to drive manual)

• Follows safety rules and procedures

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen

• Ability to obtain a valid Police Check
