Truck Driver / Yard Hand

Join Normetals, an established successful business within the industrial metal industry, as a Truck Driver / Yard Hand in Ottoway. Normetals is a one stop shop for all steel needs. Commencing in 1984 and broadly encompassing scrap metal, new and used steel, chain, specialised pipe and rural steel.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Driving Tray top, Hook lift and semi-trailer trucks

• Customer service

• Picking and packing orders for delivery

• Use of cutting equipment

• Sorting and up grading of non-ferrous scrap metals

• Operation of forklift, overhead crane and excavator

To be Successful:

• Unrestricted HR Truck License required, HC and MC license desirable

• Forklift license (essential)

• Physically capable

• Ability to use initiative as well as take direction

• Excellent communication and organisations skills
