About the Position
Established in 2009, CRA Building Services is a proudly South Australian, family-owned construction company doing with a modern head office in Rose Park working in NSW, QLD and Victoria. The business delivers high-quality building services to a diverse client base, including insurance companies, government agencies, strata groups, loss adjusters, corporate organisations, and private businesses.
As the company continues to grow, an opportunity has become available for an Accounts Receivable and Payable Officer to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, as part of a team, you will be involved in accounts receivable across an insurance client portfolio. Working closely with internal teams, you'll help ensure invoices are processed accurately, customer enquiries are resolved promptly, and financial processes continue to run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process customer invoices
Enter data into insurance company portals
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
Process credit notes and refunds following approval processes
Prepare accounts receivable and accounting activity reports
Respond to customer enquiries and resolve invoicing issues
Process supplier invoices and ensure payments are accurate and timely
Resolve supplier enquiries and maintain vendor records
About You
Ideally, you will have some previous accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, with an eagerness to broaden your skills.
To be successful, you will have:
Some previous experience in accounts receivable
Experience in accounts payable or willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Confidence communicating with customers and following written and verbal instructions
Experience in the insurance claims, insurance, or construction industry (highly regarded)
