About the Position
Established in 2009, CRA Building Services is a South Australian family construction company with a modern H/O in Rose Park and branches in NSW and Victoria. CRA focuses on delivering high-quality building services to a broad range of clients, including insurance companies, government agencies, Strata Groups, loss adjusters, corporate firms, and private companies.
CRA Building Services is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join its growing Finance team. In this role, you’ll immerse yourself in the world of multi-layered accounts for clients in the insurance sector, collaborating closely with various business units to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and processing customer invoices
Data entry within insurance company portals
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies to ensure accuracy
Processing credit notes and refunds with appropriate approvals
Applying payments to invoices, claims, or job numbers
Creating and providing accounting activity reports
Managing customer enquiries and resolving invoicing issues promptly and professionally
Skills
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in accounts receivable, with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. You’ll also have a positive, enthusiastic attitude and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.
Knowledge of insurance claims (maybe from a crash repair environment), or insurance industry or experience within the construction industry (highly desirable)
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Confident in following and communicating clear verbal and written instructions
Proficient in MYOB, Microsoft Office 365, and CRM systems
