About the Position

A dynamic South Australian family-owned business is seeking a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join its team in a full-time permanent position. The role is based in its modern head office in the inner Eastern Suburbs. 


 

Responsibilities 


Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for: 

  • Prepare and issue various types of invoices 

  • Invoice reconciliation  

  • Resolve billing discrepancies. 

  • Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers 

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to meet the expectations of both internal and external clients. 

  • Assist the accounts team with other duties  


Skills and Experience: 


To excel in this role, you will have prior experience in accounts receivable, and an understanding of the building industry is an advantage. You will be detail-oriented and highly accurate with the ability to adapt to client and industry changes. 


  • Collaborative team member who can also work independently 

  • Solution-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to think logically and laterally 

  • Proficient in MYOB and Excel
