About the Position
A dynamic South Australian family-owned business is seeking a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join its team in a full-time permanent position. The role is based in its modern head office in the inner Eastern Suburbs.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:
Prepare and issue various types of invoices
Invoice reconciliation
Resolve billing discrepancies.
Monitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers
Deliver exceptional customer service to meet the expectations of both internal and external clients.
Assist the accounts team with other duties
Skills and Experience:
To excel in this role, you will have prior experience in accounts receivable, and an understanding of the building industry is an advantage. You will be detail-oriented and highly accurate with the ability to adapt to client and industry changes.
Collaborative team member who can also work independently
Solution-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think logically and laterally
Proficient in MYOB and Excel
