About the Position
Catholic Education of South Australia is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor across the corporate divisions, influencing strategy and supporting informed decision-making through insightful financial analysis.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, you will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, providing timely financial insights, robust analysis, and practical guidance to support performance, growth, and transformation across the organisation.
Enhance the effectiveness of financials, with a strong focus on quality control and risk mitigation
Partner with stakeholders to ensure financial reporting aligns with internal policies and legislative requirements
Assist teams with budget preparation
Provide strategic financial advice
Contribute to long-term planning and organisational direction
Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for infrastructure projects
Support leaders to build strong financial management capability across programs and budgets
Oversee cost management and reporting for major capital initiatives
Ensure accurate, compliant financial records to support audit processes
Develop and continuously improve best-practice financial systems and processes
Skills and Experience
You will bring a collaborative approach, strong commercial acumen, and the confidence to influence and guide stakeholders in complex environments. This role would be ideal for a CA or CPA qualified professional with a blend of audit and commercial experience.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capability
Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills
Strategic and creative problem-solving ability
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience coaching and advising senior leaders on financial matters
