About the Position

Step into the key role of Finance Business Partner, where you will contribute to the financial management of a diverse network of group entities. Based at the corporate hub on Adelaide's Western City Fringe, you will have the flexibility to collaborate across multiple sites, all while enjoying the convenience of on-site parking.


Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in driving financial excellence across the organisation's group entities. You will provide expert guidance and assistance on all aspects of financial operations, working closely with teams to streamline processes and enhance systems, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert guidance on monthly financial transactions across the entities.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain efficient financial processes, internal controls, and procedures.

  • Support entities in meeting month-end and year-end reporting requirements, including audit and government reporting.

  • Assist with interim and year-end audit preparation

  • Contribute to the development of annual and long-term budgets for multiple entities.

  • Provide training and support on financial processes and systems to enhance team performance.

  • Lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement, optimising work processes and ensuring smooth implementation of changes.


Skills and Experience


This is a fantastic opportunity for a CA/CPA ready to transition from the accounting profession, audit, consulting, or business services into a corporate environment. You will bring strong technical accounting and analytical skills and be able to provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders

  • Leadership capabilities with a focus on driving change and fostering excellence

  • Experience in financial modelling and analysis

  • A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing service standards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contemporary tools
