About the Position
A respected and well-established organisation is seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor, playing a key role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing decision-making through insightful financial analysis. Based at the corporate headquarters on Adelaide’s western city fringe, this position offers both strategic influence and operational diversity within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, the Finance Business Partner will be instrumental in supporting the organisation’s financial performance. The role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders across departments, providing real-time financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to enable data-driven decisions.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded accounting professional to make a meaningful contribution while guiding and supporting the business through continued growth and transformation.
Responsibilities:
Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations, with a strong focus on quality control and risk mitigation.
Partner with key stakeholders to ensure financial reporting aligns with internal policies and legislative requirements.
Deliver strategic financial advice and contribute proactively to the organisation’s long-term direction
Lead financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for infrastructure projects
Provide ongoing coaching, leadership, and support to enhance financial management capabilities across programs and budgets.
Oversee cost management and reporting for major capital initiatives.
Ensure accurate and compliant financial records are maintained to support audit processes.
Develop, implement, and maintain best-practice financial systems and processes to support operational excellence.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will bring a collaborative mindset, strong leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and experience in business management within complex commercial environments. This opportunity is ideal for a CA/CPA with previous public practice experience or for an individual who is ready to transition from either audit or business services into a corporate environment.
