About the Position
PrioriAnalytica is a start-up organisation providing cutting-edge Operational Analytics solutions for the Defence, Resources, Energy, and Logistics sectors. Using Machine Learning (ML) and eXplainable AI (XAI), their technology predicts equipment failures up to six weeks in advance, allowing proactive maintenance and minimising downtime.
PrioriAnalytica is excited to appoint a full-time Finance Manager to this newly created role, in Adelaide CBD, offering the opportunity to step in and make a genuine impact by leading the finance team on a day-to-day basis. You will lead the implementation of an ERP system, establish controls for the worldwide operations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, providing clear insights to support decision-making while managing day-to-day operations and helping to continue driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
Support strategic planning and business decision-making with senior leadership
Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and stronger financial controls
Partner with key stakeholders to provide commercial and financial support
Implement a new computer system
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and capital planning
Manage month-end and year-end close, including reporting and reconciliations
Prepare management and Board reports with clear financial insights
Oversee day-to-day finance operations
Monitor cash flow and working capital to support business performance
Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, and statutory reporting requirements in multiple jurisdictions
Oversee the preparation of consolidated IFRS-compliant accounts.
Lead, mentor and develop the finance team
Assist with shareholder engagement, including regular PE Fund reporting
Support ad hoc finance and business projects
Skills:
In this role, you will be a CA or CPA qualified finance professional complemented by advanced expertise in financial modelling in Excel. You will ideally bring a strong audit foundation, gained within a Big 4 or reputable mid-tier firm, along with a strong understanding of IFRS reporting and the capital-raising process. Exposure to ERP implementations or driving system enhancements will be highly regarded.
You are a confident and articulate communicator, capable of translating complex financial insights into clear, commercially meaningful messages for non-financial stakeholders. Highly organised and adept at managing competing priorities, you thrive in fast-paced team environments. Your strong analytical mindset, coupled with sharp problem-solving ability and well-developed commercial acumen, enables you to deliver strategic value and informed decision-making.
