About the Position
Step into the pivotal role of Financial Performance Lead, where you will drive strategic leadership across the analysis, planning, and reporting of financial sustainability and performance within a diverse portfolio of group entities. In this influential position, you will spearhead the development of robust financial frameworks, sophisticated reporting tools, and forward-looking budgeting and planning processes, empowering confident, insight-led decision-making at every level.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance, you will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's financial direction. You will lead the analysis and reporting of both individual entity performance and overall group viability, while overseeing the delivery of annual budgets and long-term financial plans. Your insights will inform strategic outcomes, with regular reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will provide leadership to the Financial Performance team, ensuring seamless coordination across the broader finance function.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of a financial sustainability framework, including KPI and benchmark identification.
Design and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to drive insight into entity and overall system performance.
Coordinate and support annual budgeting and long-term (9-year) financial planning processes.
Provide timely, actionable insights to support effective decision-making.
Support the implementation of financial strategies, working collaboratively to drive performance improvement.
Oversee advanced financial modelling and analysis.
Deliver consolidated reporting and strategic insights to management, leaders and stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date financial manuals, tools, and guidance resources.
Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver finance-related strategic initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Financial Operations team.
Skills
To succeed in this role, you will hold CPA or CA qualifications (or equivalent postgraduate credentials), complemented by substantial experience in senior accounting or financial analysis positions, including demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams.
As a well-rounded finance professional, you bring the agility to operate seamlessly across strategic, analytical, and stakeholder-facing environments and confidently adapt to shifting priorities. Your advanced financial modelling expertise enables you to distil complex data, deliver insightful scenario analysis, and support informed, forward-looking decision-making.
