Leading Hand

We’re seeking a full-time Leading Hand position with solid manufacturing experience to lead a team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee daily production activities, support and guide team members, and ensure that safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met.

You will lead from the floor, motivating your team, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards. This position is a day shift from 7am - 3pm and is located in the North-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, supporting their team to perform at their best, and making a real difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a manufacturing/production team

• Coordinate daily workflow to meet production schedules

• Ensure WHS, quality, and company standards are adhered to

• Identify and resolve production issues to minimise downtime

• Train, coach, and support team members

• Liaise with management and other departments as required

About You

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within food

• Knowledge of HACCP, WHS/OHS

• Ability to lead and motivate a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Hands-on approach with the ability to problem-solve

• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

• Willing to provide/obtain a National Police Check
