About the Position
An exciting opportunity exists to join a proudly South Australian business as a Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator, playing a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day coordination of customer orders, stock deliveries, and driver allocation.
Based in the Northeastern Suburbs, this full-time position offers the convenience of on-site parking and the benefit of avoiding city traffic. In this role, you’ll join a growing, supportive team that values teamwork, clear communication, and getting the job done right.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage daily run schedules
Adjust and coordinate delivery runs throughout the day
Liaise with subcontractors and allocate deliveries appropriately
Plan truck loads based on customer priorities and deadlines
Provide customers with updates on ETAs, schedule changes, delays, and priorities
Build and maintain strong relationships with the sales team, drivers, and transport partners
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling and coordinating deliveries, ideally within the transport or logistics industry. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail with strong multitasking ability
Calm and solutions-focused approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to prioritise, organise, and adapt under pressure
Confident using computer systems (Microsoft Suite, CRM Systems, Outlook)
