About the Position

Clay & Mineral is a proudly South Australian, family-owned business based in Golden Grove. For over 60 years, they have supplied a wide range of high-quality quarry products, including sand, soil, and gravel, across South Australia.


Clay & Mineral is currently seeking an experienced Logistics and Transport Scheduler to join their dynamic operations team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring customer orders, stock movements, and driver allocations run seamlessly each day.


Located in Adelaide’s Northeastern Suburbs, this full-time opportunity offers the convenience of on-site parking and the added bonus of avoiding the daily CBD commute. You’ll become part of a growing, supportive team environment that values collaboration, strong communication, and the delivery of exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Create, coordinate, and manage daily transport schedules and delivery runs

  • Monitor and adjust delivery schedules throughout the day to meet operational demands

  • Liaise with subcontractors and allocate deliveries appropriately

  • Plan truck loads based on customer priorities and deadlines

  • Provide customers with updates on ETAs, schedule changes, delays, and priorities

  • Build strong working relationships with drivers, transport partners, and internal sales teams•


Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling and coordinating deliveries, ideally within the transport or logistics industry. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.


  • Excellent attention to detail with strong multitasking ability

  • Calm and solutions-focused approach

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to prioritise, organise, and adapt under pressure

  • Confident using computer systems (Microsoft Suite, CRM Systems, Outlook)
