About the Position

ennio International is a proudly South Australian, family-owned textile manufacturer with a global footprint, specialising in the design, customisation, and production of innovative nettings and casings for the meat and poultry industry. Since the 1980s, the business has built a strong reputation for creativity, flexibility, and practical problem-solving, partnering with customers worldwide to deliver quality, reliability, and tailored solutions.

As the business continues to expand, ennio International is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take the lead role across the factory, storage, procurement and production operations. You will work closely with the General Manager and HR/WHS function, combining hands-on leadership with strategic planning to drive efficiency, maintain exceptional product standards, and ensure a safe, high-performance workplace with a focus on outstanding customer outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities include:


  • Lead and manage:

    - Daily operations to meet production goals and customer expectations

    - Production, maintenance, procurement, and warehousing teams

    - Work, health and safety principles whilst working closely with the HR/WHS Manager.

    - Quality standards and compliance in line with FSSC 22000, HACCP and QA audits in conjunction with the QA team.

    - Machine utilisation, downtime and reliability

    - Team capability and development while ensuring a safe, positive workplace

    - Production efficiencies and ensure operations stay within budget

  • Analyse data and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • As part of the management team, support business goals and operational strategies

  • Work with stakeholders on process improvements and capital projects


Skills and Experience:

The successful candidate will hold a degree in engineering, management, or a related field and be a strong leader who can motivate teams, create a positive and safe workplace, and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.


  • Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to analyse data, interpret results, and make informed decisions

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and databases

  • Able to build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
