Seeking experienced and detail-oriented Finance professionals to lead and manage school financial operations. These are both full-time and part-time positions available across several school sites.
St Brigid’s Kilburn (R-6) - Full time
St Raphael’s Parkside (R- 6) – Part time (0.6 -0.8)
Two Campas School: Our Lady of La Vang School (ages 5-20) and St Patrick’s Special School - Dulwich (ages 5-20)
Responsibilities
Provide financial advice, reports, and planning support to school leadership
Lead financial systems, budgets, and compliance processes
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, BAS, GST & FBT returns
Manage payroll functions, salary packaging, and entitlements
Prepare annual financial statements and support external audits
Administer school fees, payment plans, and debt collection
Support government funding submissions and grant administration
Oversee the maintenance of buildings, grounds and facilities, and participate in major projects.
Skills and Experience
To be successful within these roles, you will bring well-rounded experience in financial management, ideally within an educational environment, together with a solid understanding of financial legislation, taxation, and payroll processes. You will also be comfortable planning and delivering complex financial functions and applying your expertise to support both day-to-day operations and broader strategic goals.
Proficient in finance/payroll systems and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Ability to provide clear and practical financial insights to support school leaders.
Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
Trusted to maintain confidentiality, support staff in emergencies, and act with accountability.
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect in Education and Care Settings (or willing to obtain)
Current First Aid qualification (or willing to obtain)
